We’ll be bringing the Gospel, gifts, food, and other necessities to two orphanages in Mexico and the local community of the Discipleship Center, Esperanza for Sons and Daughters.
We’ll be gathering all gift boxes and items for each kid and orphanage, sorting and praying over them on Packing Day, and personally delivering these gifts and items to orphanages and community kids with our local church partners in San Diego.

PHASE ONE: COLLECTION
1. Christmas Gift Boxes
Our goal is to pack 200 gift boxes this year!
You can find instructions on how to join us below.
*Important: Please register your boxes ahead of time. We recommend packing these into small plastic containers that the kids can reuse, along with a suggested $20 donation. This small donation goes towards putting together the entire Christmas program, including the Packing Day event, the 3 day trips in December, food for the children, love offerings for the orphanages, etc.

How to Participate
​1. Decide how many boxes you would like to pack and which gender and age to prepare gifts for.

We’ll be collecting boxes for girls and boys of:

2-5 years old
-
6-9 years old
-
10-13 years old
-
14+ years hold

2. Register your boxes in the link below. ​
3. Read through the Packing Guidelines and then buy your respective gifts and boxes.
4. Drop off your boxes at CEC on Packing Day, Nov 8th, or ahead of time.
5. (Optional) Include a $20 donation (per box) with your box donation through online giving or by check or cash. You can make your donation below.
Register your Gift Box
To sign up for the gift box:

Click the link, and click “Get tickets” under “Free”.

You’ll see the available selection to pack boxes by gender and age groups. You may sign up to pack as many boxes as you want, and in as many categories as you would like.

Once all the boxes are selected, click “Register” and fill out the contact information.

If there are multiple line items for multiple registered boxes, you can simply put your name in all the slots.

Once finished, you can click “Register” and you should receive an email confirmation shortly.
Gift Box Packing Guidelines

We recommend using a reusable bin (6Q size or 5.7L). These can be purchased at Target or your local dollar store.

We recommend one main gift item, along with stocking stuffers. All gifts must be in new or like new condition.

School supplies are recommended to make up only a small portion of the box, as we get routine school supply donations so there isn’t an urgent need. If you do include school supplies, the kids really love themed/fun school supplies, or nicer markers or gel pens.

**Please do not include perishables, food, or any toys related to military/weapons.

We suggest including a $20 donation with the box to help cover program costs of delivery. Checks can be made out to Renewal Missions, or you can donate on our website with the designation “Christmas Outreach 2025”.

Please make sure to tape a packing label on the lid when finished packing.
**All gift boxes are due on Packing Day 11/8 by 2PM at Chinese Evangelical Church. Contact Jenny if you’re unable to make Packing Day to coordinate delivery of gift boxes.
PHASE TWO: PACKING AND PRAYING

We’ll be gathering volunteers to help sort through and check each of the gift boxes to make sure all items are appropriate for the age group, label them all for the designated orphanage, and pray over the boxes before our volunteers transport them to Tijuana. Light refreshments will be provided.
We’ll also be having our special guests, Pastors Rolando and Rubi, our friends at Esperanza, come and share a bit about their ministry. There will be a short Q&A to follow.

PHASE THREE: DELIVERY
Day Trips
to Tijuana
Local Church Teams from San Diego will be sent down to personally deliver these gifts and items to orphanages and community kids. Due to limited availability, we will only be taking teams down on Fridays.

We need your help to raise $10,000 for our Christmas Outreach Program! Your partnership is crucial in making a difference in the lives of many.
The funds will cover all three phases of our program expenses and support the orphanages and Esperanza. Any extra donations will provide further financial aid to our friends at Esperanza.
