Transitioning Into a New Season of Partnership

The Lord has done a lot over the past few years since Renewal Missions was founded from first serving orphans with disabilities in Shanghai to helping build out Esperanza for Sons and Daughters! 2023 was full of God’s provisions and blessings in and through our ministry as we accomplished many things by God’s grace, especially ending the year with our biggest program, Christmas Outreach.

God has been faithful to our small team and ministry, and we trust Him through all circumstances. While our Christmas Outreach program activities were successful, we were unable to meet our year-end fundraising goal for 2023, only having raised about 32% of our $50,000 goal. In addition to this shortfall in our Christmas fundraising, the overall funds for the organization have been consistently low throughout the entire year of 2023.

In light of our financial situation, we desire to set our organization up for long-term sustainability and to care for our staff well as this ministry continues to grow.  We believe the Lord is inviting our ministry into a new season of even greater partnership and growth as we look to what He is doing.

Part of that invitation includes transitioning to a new system of support for each team member, specifically building up their network of support teams to pray, give financially, and join in serving. Our staff members will begin support raising for their ministry work, and Renewal Missions will aim to help each staff member build their own personal support teams and ministry partners for the years to come.

Our hope in shifting from a team-wide support-raising model to an individual one is to build up a greater community of believers who believe in God's mission for orphans, those with disabilities, and media ministry. Through this transition, we also aim to help Esperanza, Rolando and Rubi, and our family in Tijuana grow to be self-sufficient and independent through providing resources and training necessary for long-term sustainability.

Would you come alongside us and partner with our organization and staff as we transition into this new season? Please join us in prayer as our staff members develop their support teams this year!

Our goal is to transition fully to our new financial structure at the beginning of April, which gives our team a couple of months to prepare and begin raising their communities for the transition.

If you would like to support us in our financial shortfall to help ensure a smooth transition through our organization's financial restructuring period over the next two months, you can donate to our General Fund.
